Strawberry Chocolate Cupcakes
TidyMom and we made just a few alterations. We wanted to add more strawberry so instead of only using it in the filling, we reduced the butter and water in the batter and added pureed strawberries (all fresh but frozen would work too). We also decreased the amount of cocoa powder in the frosting (simply out of a lack of cocoa powder but it tasted great!). The recipe uses a cake mix so it's a pretty quick dessert that tastes amazing (btw - Duncan Hines is the best cake mix). The strawberry cream tastes so light and fresh. Enjoy!
