Palouse Mall Bridal Fair

This past weekend we participated in our first bridal fair! I chose to feature yellow and grey since the mall doesn't have great lighting. The bridal bouquet above has: callas, cremones, billy balls, succulents, queen anne's lace, dusty miller, tulips, and lisianthus.
I found an old ladder at a thrift store and painted it yellow to showcase the potted succulents. Mike whipped up the "ranch inspired" backdrop to hang the window and more pictures from.
The back of the bouquet was lined with pearl headed pins and a small picture frame at the top. A couple cute kiddos even stopped by for a visit! :) Thanks Naphtali and Rachel for your help!

Caleb and Katie

Katie wanted to use as many local flowers as possible.  Due to a cold spring lilacs were the only flower really blooming. So we picked buckets and buckets of lilacs!  We filled in with stock, lisianthus, larkspur, and leptospermum - focusing on purples and pinks.
Katie's bouquet - hand tied.

Mother of the Bride corsage.
Bridesmaids bouquets. (Katie's bridesmaids were in teal).
Centerpiece.
Groom - lisianthus and larkspur.
Bride and Groom cake - made by Meyers.
Congrats Caleb and Katie Bouma!

Feature Flower: Billy Balls

The Billy Balls are a great stand alone flower. (I just got some in so they're on my mind!)  They'd be a wonderful theme flower in a yellow and gray wedding or event. And here again is a yellow and orange combination - so cheerful! The bouquet above features Billy Balls, Tulips, and Hypericum -great for Spring. (image from weddingchica.wordpress.com)
